FC AK is a South African football club from Johannesburg that plays in the National First Division.
The club is named after Azziz Kara, a sports administrator and former owner of the club, who was banned from South African football for life following allegations of corruption.[1] The club were fined R500,000 in 2008 and docked 15 points as punishment resulting in relegation to the Vodacom League.[1]
They were promoted to the National First Division at the end of the 2009-10 season. [2]
